Raining Nails is a Melodic Heavy Metal band from Italy, born in 2016 (but in business only from 2022) from the creative vision of Massimiliano Flak (Sound Storm, Highlord). Blending powerful melodies with intense, emotional heaviness, Raining Nails stands at the crossroads of modern metal and classic sensibility, offering a sound that is both cinematic and deeply human. Formed as a collaborative project between seasoned musicians from the European metal scene, Raining Nails unites a powerhouse lineup:

Marika Vanni (Eternal Silence) – Vocals, Giacomo Paradiso (ex-Fallen Arise, Oracle Sun) – Rhythm, Lead, and Acoustic Guitars, Mattia Rubino (Sound Storm) – Drums, Massimiliano Flak (Sound Storm, Highlord) – Bass Guitar, Composer, and Producer

The band made its impactful debut with the album Human Deeds in 2023, a record that explores the light and shadow within the human experience, delivered with powerful vocals, intricate guitar work, and immersive arrangements. On May 30th 2025, Raining Nails unveiled their much-anticipated new single, Through The Mist, marking an evolution in sound and emotional depth. The track has been praised for its dynamic composition and compelling lyrical themes, serving as a preview of what’s to come. A new full-length album is currently in the works and is scheduled for release by the end of the year, promising to further push the boundaries of melodic heavy metal with passion, technical excellence, and storytelling at its core. Raining Nails is more than a band it is a fusion of experience, emotion, and artistry. The best is yet to come, follow Raining Nails.
